Statera Talent is a specialist Risk, Compliance and ESG Recruitment Agency covering hiring globally, from Analyst to C Suite level.
Since going live to market in 2020, Statera Talent has built a proven track record of filling roles in both the ever growing ESG and Sustainable Finance markets whilst continuing on its’ founders, Ryan Norquoy’s 9+ years of recruiting in the Risk and Governance markets. With the addition of Lewis Clarke and his deep experience recruiting in Quantitative roles, Statera Talent has nearly two decades of combined experience recruiting across financial services globally.
Statera, meaning "Balance" in Latin, is an integral part of the company's mission statement for a number of reasons:
- Balance is an essential factor to the ESG and Governance policies and practices which an institution is controlled by. Managing the fine line between encouraging front office activity, whilst ensuring robust environmental and regulatory procedures is essential within the modern financial world.
- Effective talent solutions require a balance between the needs and wants of both candidate and client.
- A balanced approach to work enables firms to retain talent and more importantly, helps increase employee wellbeing.
Ryan founded Statera Talent in 2020 after working for a number of successful risk and governance teams in London, having started his recruitment career in 2014, working his way from associate consultant to manager level.
Throughout his career, he has worked on roles from graduate to C Suite level for Asset Managers, Banks, Trading Firms, Rating Agencies, Technology Firms, Consultancies and Regulators.
His current focus is a combination of assisting clients in their growth in the ESG space and hiring traditional risk and governance positions.
Ryan's career highlight so far has been assisting a global financial services organisation for their ESG build out, recruiting 14 candidates for them in a long term project.
Lewis began his financial services recruitment career in 2013, covering the risk market for a global recruitment company.
After joining a specialist financial services recruitment firm to focus on more technical disciplines, Lewis progressed from senior consultant to manager of the quantitative risk & analytics recruitment desk.
Since 2017, Lewis has recruited across data analytics, model validation and quantitative analysis. Clients have included: Asset Managers, Investment Banks and High Frequency Trading Firms. In his most recent position, Lewis returned to a “hands on” role, allowing him to build deeper networks across his markets.
Lewis excels at finding hard to reach candidates. A career highlight to date has been building out a data analytics team, with a focus on candidates returning to work after long term leave of absence.
